Wells Mason is an American designer and sculptor. He primarily works with wood and metal. His furniture designs are firmly rooted in the contemporary studio furniture movement. His sculpture practice references the familiar lines of Minimalism but with an added intellectual component that explores an idea. His designs have won prestigious awards, his sculptures have been exhibited in galleries and museums around the country, and his work has been featured in numerous publications. Mason is based in Coupland, Texas and Marfa, Texas.
